Pocket Altar Workshop
Join us at the Brooklyn Apothecary on Wednesday August 12th at 6:30pm, learn how to make a mini altar, sip tea and set intentions.
What is an alter? A designated place of veneration, seen across cultures, that serves as a spiritual manifestation point, is imbued with personal intentions, wishes, or prayers. Common uses across culture: Ancestral veneration. Religious veneration, higher power, deities
A pocket altar, tiny but mighty, is filled with that same intent, on the go, serving as a grounding moment of balance, in your tote!
As we do a mini-intro to divination, come and customize your own, based around your wishes and intentions. Look within, and fill a tin with a variety of elements: shells, charms, crystals*, dried herbs, flowers, and more!
Included:
- Summer herbal tea blend
- 15% off Anima Mundi products to shop in store.
- One pocket size crystal, available selection may vary.
Space is limited to 10 guests. All tickets must be purchased before noon by the day of the event unless otherwise notified. Refunds accepted up to 24 hours prior to event unless cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
Jules Kulaya is a designer, yoga teacher, death doula and herbal apprentice, has woven intuition and reciprocity to the land throughout both their artistic and wellness offerings. Community building in ceremony, particularly for marginalized artists, has been a lifelong journey. Holding sacred space is part of their purpose, and they’re so excited to set intentions and share space with you! Instagram @kulayascope
